Qualifications:

  • A graduate of Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • With at least three (3) years' experience in engineering function in manufacturing and assembly environment
  • Good knowledge about Six Sigma 
  • Background in Program Management
  • Background in Yield Management
  • With Chemical Engineering background
  • With experience in using Quality Tools
  • Effective communication skills with strong sense of basic leadership
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Compensation is based on skills and qualifications
  • Must be willing to work at Cebu Light Industrial Park, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops, monitors, and maintains efficient manufacturing processes and workflow for assembly and sub-assembly products.
  • Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.
  • Provides technical support for machines, processes and production lines in the organization to ensure continued production.
  • Coordinates with the introduction of new and redesigned products, special projects, and technical studies together with NPI Team.
  • Realize continuous and breakthrough improvement projects
  • Ensures product and process performance in terms of First Pass and Final Yield, and quality levels are aligned with Factory Operational Targets
  • Improves processes by reducing scrap impact through Value Creation Initiatives and applying Continuous Improvement on all areas in production. Lead and initiate cost reduction projects and Kaizen initiatives on a regular basis.
  • Ensures timely transfer, build-up and ramp up of assembly lines and equipment from different locations based on agreed project timing. Leads Trainer for new assembly processes and operational systems.
  • Provides strong support to Quality Assurance in solving customer concerns and prepare corrective and preventive actions as required.
  • Maintain technical drawings, Engineering Specifications, Test Configuration Files, Process Flows & PFMEA, BOM, Assembly Routing, operational standards, work instructions and special procedures, Lessons Learned, and other existing document systems.
  • Supports SPR and NMR runs, their assessment, completion, and analysis in a timely manner. Including but not limited to qualification and release of new production processes, equipment, and related manufacturing systems.
